Chapter 17 – Who Is This Man? Reconnecting with Jose Garcia – 2008

In 1988, shortly after our trip to Muskoka, Canada, Vilma, Sandy’s mom,  told me I had to see this Vedic Astrologer who lived in Puerto Rico. His name is Jose Garcia. She promised me he would blow me away and that he would give me a phone session.

So, I called him and we agreed to a session.  I was very curious about my boyfriend at the time and wanted to know if he was the ‘right’ man. He went over my love life, my career and family but I honestly wasn’t impressed. Now I realize why. I hadn’t lived enough of my life and so there wasn’t much that he said that I could verify.

At least fifteen years went by.  I married and divorced my boyfriend back then and was living with my second husband. It was 2003 and  I was in my closet looking through old boxes and paperwork when I ran into this recording. It was an audio tape inside a clear cover with the date on the outside. . I found a tape player and listened to the recording.

I was stunned.  The man on the other side was telling my story blow for blow. He was revealing, 15 years before my life unfolded, what I could expect in my future life and everything happened exactly as he said.  I looked everywhere for who was the astrologer on the recording but there was no contact information. The last thought I had was that it would be nice to be able to see this man again.

After meeting Grandmother Ayleen in December of 2007, she told me over the phone that her vedic astrologer was going to be in New York. There was only one day I could see him and it was a day that called for a snow storm.  I called him and we agreed to meet.

The snow storm did create problems with us meeting, forcing us to change the location several times. I finally walk into the reading space and my intuition told me that I knew this man.

So, I asked him, “Do we know each other?”  

He said, “I don’t think so. As far as I know this is the first time we meet.”

“Did you ever live in Puerto Rico?”, I asked.

He said, “Yes, of course.”

Is it possible that you gave me a reading over 20 years ago over the phone from PR.?”, I asked.

He thought about it for a moment and said, “It’s possible.  Why? Who recommended you back then?”

“Do you know Vilma Stein?”, I asked.

“VILMA!  Of course, my dearest friend.  How do you know Vilma?”, he asked.

This is how we figured out that Jose Garcia was the very same man that gave me that reading over 20 years before. After our first meeting, I started hosting Jose Garcia at my home. We worked together many years before I handed the baton to a dear friend who hosts him now inSan Juan, Puerto Rico.
